Every year, about 9,000 young people worldwide experience the opportunity of a lifetime through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program—a chance to live in another country and see the world from a new perspective.
You could be one of them!
As a Rotary Youth Exchange student, you’ll experience a year abroad with host families and attend a school in a host country. You’ll learn about your host country’s culture, another way of life, a new language, and a great deal about yourself.
Our Rotary Youth Exchange Program is for secondary school students who have not completed high school and is accredited by Rotary International. It meets the standards required to conduct the program, and our program partners abroad are also certified by Rotary International.
Our program is accredited
The Rotary District 9705 Youth Exchange Program is accredited by DE International, the international unit of the New South Wales Department of Education and the International Education Unit of the Australian Capital Territory Education Directorate as a Student Exchange Organisation to conduct the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.
Our program meets the standards and duty of care requirements of these accreditation bodies.
You’ll become a student ambassador
As you learn more about yourself during a Rotary Youth Exchange, you’ll also teach the people you meet about your country, culture, and ideas.
You’ll become a student ambassador for your country, helping to bring the world closer together and make lifelong friends.
If you’re ready for the challenge and the rewards of living abroad in another country as a Rotary Youth Exchange student, discover new experiences through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.
